Dozens of athletes of all ages competed in the Evergreen Lake International and Sprint
Triathlons
at Hudson on Saturday, but it was 27-year-old Andrew Starykowicz and 26-year-old
Emily
Dewald who led the pack.
Starykowicz won the men's Olympic elite international race with a time of 1:53:30, over two minutes faster than the next closest competitor. Dewald finished her
triathlon
in 2:10:47, winning the women's Olympic elite division by 22.5 seconds.
Bill Kaminski, 47, won the men's sprint division in 1:57:31, and 21-year-old Bryn Iten's time of 2:16:09 was tops in the women's sprint division.
